Most Of The 11 New European Countries Listed By German Institutions Are High-risk Areas

Germany's Robert Koch Institute for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) listed 11 countries and regions in Europe as high-risk areas with the new outbreak rebounding.

The new areas of the Robert Koch Institute include France, Croatia, Slovenia, Ireland, Portugal, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. After the Robert Koch Institute lists high-risk areas, the German Foreign Ministry usually issues travel warnings to remind people to cancel unnecessary travel to those areas, Reuters reported.

A number of media reported on the 23rd that Germany's expansion of the "list" of high-risk areas of the epidemic has impacted the recovery of European tourism.

Germany's domestic epidemic also rebounded. According to data from the Robert Koch Institute on the 24th, 278070 new crown cases were found in Germany, with 2143 new cases in the past 24 hours and 9428 deaths.

Germany's Federal Minister of economy and energy Peter altmair has become the second minister of the German federal government to isolate himself at home on the 23rd. Altmair contacted an aide to a European Union minister who tested positive for the new crown.

Earlier in the day, German Foreign Minister hekko Maas also announced self isolation and cancelled his trip to Jordan because one of his bodyguards was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
