On November 5, Zhang Shaogang, vice president of the China Council for the promotion of international trade, met with Li Ziwen, vice chairman of Mexico's foreign trade, investment and Technology Commission in Beijing by video. The two sides exchanged views on deepening economic and trade exchanges between China and Mexico and how to use free trade agreements such as the US Mexico Canada agreement to boost the investment and development of Chinese enterprises in Mexico.
Zhang Shaogang said that thanks to the joint efforts of the governments of the two countries and the industrial and commercial circles, the economic and trade exchanges between China and Mexico have shown a good momentum of incremental improvement. China Council for the promotion of trade is willing to work with Mexico to create favorable conditions for practical cooperation between enterprises of both sides and build a high-quality trade and investment promotion platform.
Li Ziwen said that Mexico China Economic and trade cooperation has developed steadily and bilateral import and export trade and investment are active. The Mexican side welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest in Mexico and provide policy advice and convenient conditions for them to adjust their trade and investment strategies with Mexico.
